Andrew Kogan
Sales Executive | Selling steel since 2012
A St. Louis native through and through, Andrew brings over a decade of dedication and relationship-driven sales to the American Piping Products team. A graduate of Parkway North High School and the University of Missouri–Columbia, he found his way into the steel industry through an unlikely connection — a chance meeting with APP's CEO at a charity event while working at Enterprise Rent-A-Car. That conversation changed everything.
Since joining APP in December 2012, Andrew has built a career grounded in trust, consistency, and a genuine love for the people he works with. His favorite part of the job? The long-term relationships he's developed with customers and colleagues who have been in the trenches of the steel industry just as long as he has. He'll be the first to tell you that the cyclical nature of steel teaches you two things above all else: gratitude and patience.
Outside the office, Andrew is a man of strong loyalties — to his sports teams (a die-hard Buffalo Bills, St. Louis Cardinals, and Blues fan), to the group of childhood friends he still laces up with on the ice hockey rink, and most importantly, to his family. He and his wife, married in 2018, are proud parents to a daughter born in 2019. When it's time to recharge, you'll likely find the family in Whitefish, Montana — a place he describes simply as like nowhere else on earth. He also enjoys pickleball, though hockey will always have his heart.
