Robert is a St. Louis original — born, raised, and still rooted here. He grew up the way many Midwest kids do: hunting, fishing, and playing sports from sunup to sundown. Baseball carried him to Forest Park College and eventually to the University of Missouri, where he earned degrees in finance and business. The competitive instincts honed on the diamond never really left — they just found a new home in sales.

As the youngest of four siblings, Robert grew up watching, absorbing, and learning from everyone around him. That upbringing gave him something that has proven invaluable in his career: a natural curiosity about how people think and a genuine desire to work as part of a team rather than go it alone.

That same curiosity shapes how he approaches sales. For Robert, the transaction is the starting point, not the finish line. He finds that the best outcomes come from going deeper — understanding the job, the challenge, and the customer — which opens the door to solving problems that pricing alone never could. It is an approach built on relationships, and it is one he has refined with pride since joining American Piping Products in 2019.

Outside of work, Robert is happiest outdoors with his wife and three kids, getting their hands dirty and making the most of whatever the day brings.
