Steven Evers

Steve is a proud St. Louis native and die-hard Mizzou alumnus who brings a people-first approach to everything he does — and with 56 first cousins on his mother's side, you could say he was born into it. After beginning his career in financial and insurance sales, Steve made the move to American Piping Products in 2017 and found a home in an industry that rewards exactly the kind of relationship-building and adaptability he thrives on. For Steve, the ever-changing nature of the steel market isn't a challenge to endure — it's what keeps the job interesting. He genuinely enjoys the constant learning that comes with working in a dynamic industry, and there's a particular satisfaction in helping companies get the materials they need and seeing the finished results out in the world. It's the kind of tangible impact that never gets old. Outside the office, Steve's life is full in the best possible way. He and his wife are raising three kids, and being a father is something he counts among his greatest joys. He coaches tee ball, cheers on the Cardinals, follows the Tigers in football and basketball, and participates in a fantasy football league with friends and coworkers — because apparently the office competitiveness needed somewhere to go. He plays pickleball with his dad, fires up the grill as often as possible, and squeezes in golf whenever three kids allow. When it's time for a family vacation, Florida beaches are the unanimous verdict.
