Executive Leadership Team
CEO Mike Hubbell
Mr. Hubbell was promoted in Oct. 2025 to Chief Executive Officer at American Piping Products. Previously he served as the Executive Vice President of Strategy. He is responsible for the vision and strategy of the organization with an emphasis on growth. Prior to joining APP, Mr. Hubbell served as Vice President of Sales for Premier Pipe, a Sumitomo-owned OCTG distributor based in Houston. He held the same role with Centric Pipe, an OCTG and line pipe manufacturer based out of Dallas, TX. His career began with Maverick Tube in 2004 and transitioned to Tenaris when they acquired Maverick in 2006. Additionally, he spent time with Boomerang Tube during the commissioning of their Liberty, TX facility. Mr. Hubbell is a Missouri native and attended the University of Missouri – Kansas City where he studied Business Administration.
EVP of Sales Shane Russell
Mr. Russell was promoted to Executive VP of Sales in Jan. 2021. He joined the APP sales team in Oct. 2004. Although his main focus was developing and maintaining new business, Mr. Russell also trained and mentored many of the current salesmen he now leads. He currently oversees our sales teams in St. Louis, Philadelphia, Houston and Chicago. He received a Bachelor of Arts from St. Louis University.
CFO Mike Hart
Mr. Hart has served as Chief Financial Officer since Jan. 2020. Previously, he served as our Managing Director of Finance from Feb. 2019 – Dec. 2019. Mr. Hart’s focus is on financial controls and analysis, human resources, culture and driving efficiencies throughout American Piping Products. He has eleven years of public company finance experience. Prior to joining American Piping Products, Mr. Hart was the Senior Vice President, Accounting and Treasurer of Isle of Capri Casinos, Inc. (acquired by Eldorado Resorts), and prior to that worked for EY from 1999 to 2007 in assurance and advisory. He earned a Master of Accountancy from the University of Missouri—Columbia.
Dir. of Operations Marty Stine
Mr. Stine has served as Director of Operations since Oct. 2017. Previously, he served as General Manager of the steel yard in Houston from Mar. 2010 – Sep. 2017. Mr. Stine’s focus is on operational excellence, inventory management, transportation and driving innovation and efficiency throughout the Company. Prior to joining American Piping Products, Mr. Stine was owner and operator of an equestrian trailer custom living quarters design and manufacturing company.
Chairman Al Rheinnecker
Mr. Rheinnecker served as the Chief Executive Officer from July 2011 – Dec. 2020 and now serves as Chairman for the company. Prior to working with American Piping Products, Mr. Rheinnecker founded Clayton Steel Supply Inc., which merged with American Piping Products in 2000. He received a Bachelor of Arts and a Masters of Business Administration from Webster University.
