Steel isn’t just a career for Tim — it’s in his blood. His father founded Ozark Tubular Products, giving Tim a front-row seat to the industry from an early age. He began his career in steel in 2003, and when American Piping Products acquired Ozark Tubular in 2013, it turned out to be a win for everyone involved — most of all his customers, who gained access to a significantly broader inventory and expanded in-house processing capabilities almost overnight.

More than two decades into his career, Tim’s approach remains straightforward: while American Piping Products signs his paycheck, he works for his customers. He brings integrity and tenacity to every interaction, with a focus on getting material requirements right and pricing them competitively. Earning and keeping a customer’s trust is something he never takes for granted, and that mindset has defined his career from the start. He values the freedom APP gives him to serve both longtime clients and new relationships with products spanning domestic and import manufacturers — a flexibility that lets him find the right solution regardless of the requirement.

Outside the office, Tim is a devoted supporter of his three kids and their activities. When he gets a moment for himself, you’ll likely find him trackside watching Formula 1, meticulously detailing a car, or taking in a car show. It’s a passion that runs deep — deep enough that if the steel business hadn’t called, he’ll tell you the auto industry almost certainly would have.
